With the success of it just-completed reality series "The Bachelor," ABC is looking to cast a female version of the show.

A network source tells Reuters that ABC is currently looking for a "Bachlorette" to star in a new series, in which one woman will have the possibility of finding a future mate out of 25 guys.

In the male version of the series, one of ABC's few successes this season, the bachelor Alex put his prospective mates through a battery of dates to determine with whom he was most compatible until he whittled the 25 women down to one, Amanda.

The series air in over six one-hour episodes, with the finale last Thursday (April 25) scoring one of the beast numbers of the season for the network with 18.2 million viewers.
